LP headshotThe Litchfield Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Lauren Plummer to the role of Executive Director. Born and raised in Litchfield, she has always had a deep connection to the community and a strong appreciation for small businesses.

Lauren grew up in a family owned and operated business, Plummer Funeral Home, where she gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges and rewards of running a small business. Witnessing her parents' dedication and hard work instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the importance of community support.

After completing her college education at Columbia College Chicago, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Arts + Sciences and garnered lots of experience in the entertainment industry, Lauren decided to open her own photography business, LFP Photography, in January of 2021.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Lauren has also been actively involved in non-profit organizations like Pantry Pals, Meals on Wheels, and Breaking Bread. She has volunteered her time and expertise to support causes close to her heart.

Lauren has a knack for putting together small events for friends and family and is excited to foster that into larger-scale events for the small businesses and community of Litchfield.

When she’s outside of the office, you can probably find Lauren behind a camera, in a coffee shop, at a concert of one of her favorite artists, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoying a new movie or TV show, or hanging out with friends and family.

During her time as Executive Director, Lauren plans to find ways to connect the small businesses of Litchfield in a larger way, create and support old and new relationships, and get the Chamber of Commerce to be a strong and sustainable resource within the business realm of the Litchfield community.
